SUMMARY JUDGMENT GRANTED TO SCHWAB & GASPARINI CLIENT

In May of 2014, Schwab & Gasparini obtained summary judgment on behalf of their client, Chapel Hill Condominium, in a personal injury lawsuit.  The plaintiff sustained a severe, fractured elbow resulting in surgery with insertion of pins and metal plate as a result of a fall from a dance floor.  In obtaining summary judgment, Schwab & Gasparini successfully argued that the height differential of the dance floor from the ground floor constituted a “trivial defect” and that the dance floor was not defective or dangerous.
